When I was about 5 years old, my mom started a day-care in my home that continued for the next 10 years. I would play "school" with the kids, visit the zoo, play at the playground, etc. I loved assisting my mom with the kids. When I turned 16 years old I began babysitting for my family and friends. Babysitting became much easier when I became a licensed driver. I was able to take the kids to the zoo, the movies, apple picking, etc. I graduated from Rhode Island College last year for Elementary Education. I love being active with kids and enjoying activities outside. Taking kids to the playground, the beach, pumpkin picking, baseball games, are so much fun for them and myself!
