I have been in in home child care provider for the past 10 years. I have been certified at every base we have lived at.. My ratio was 6:1, my responsibilities were taking care of the children, planning and doing the daily activities, preparing and serving meals. Being certified on a military base I was required to take part in monthly training to further my education, I was also able to do modules At home and the base trainer would come out and observe me, from doing that I was selected to participate in making a training video for all DOD childcare programs. I have had wonderful experiences with watching children in my home and still Keep in touch with many of my families today.
