I am a senior pre-med biochemistry major at Clemson University who is looking for some fulfilling part time work. I have experience in child care from taking of my younger sibling and babysitting my niece and nephews (newborn-6 years old). During High School, I assisted in the nursery at Gilgal Baptist Church in Edgefield, SC. Volunteering experiences with Clemson Center for Childhood Development and the reading buddy program at Central Elementary have increased my knowledge of providing formative care. I am also CPR certified through my wilderness first aid training. I believe that taking care of a child is more than turning on a tv, but rather engaging them in active and educationally enriching activities. I adore being with children and think that helping them grow into happy, successful individuals is one of the most rewarding experiences.
