Hi! My name is Melissa and I am currently a School Counselor at an Elementary School in the Charleston area. I have always had a passion for working with children! I have been a swim coach for the past 4 summers, I worked as a camp counselor where I led a group of 4th graders who had recently survived childhood cancer, and I also worked for a program called City Year where I mentored and tutored underprivledged youth in an elementary school. I graduated from JMU with a BS degree in Psychology and Special Education and recently got my Masters in School Counseling from Clemson. I love being around children and plan on staying in this field for a long, long time!
