I started my work in child care as a teacher's assistant at a preschool in New York, working in 3-year-old class with 16 students. It was a demanding, but very rewarding job, and I immediately fell in love with teaching and working with children. I grew up in Charleston, and decided to move back in 2016. I'm currently a part-time graduate student at the College of Charleston, where I'm working towards a masters degree in early childhood education.
