HI I'm Emily! I go to Elon University and I am a Public Health major. I am currently waiting to hear back from nursing schools so I can pursue my dream of becoming a pediatric nurse practitioner. I worked at Victory Junction Camp for two summers. It is an overnight camp for kids with chronic and life-threatening illnesses. I have worked with varying diagnoses including Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, Neurological and Genetic disorders, Diabetes, Cancer, Rheumatologic diseases, Physical variances, Sickle cell and Bleeding disorders, Gastrointestinal disorders, Heart, Lung, and Kidney Disorders and others. I have experience doing activities of daily living with many of children. I am very passionate about those with special needs because I was able to see what amazing things they bring the world every day at camp and I loved every second of it. I also have experience babysitting for date nights
