Hello! My name is Abby! I am a 20 year old sophomore attending the University of South Carolina. I grew up in a suburb of Denver, Colorado until moving to Columbia to pursue my dream of becoming an Elementary school teacher. I have anyways known that I wanted to be a teacher because of my love for children, art and learning. I have been babysitting since the 6th grade; about 8 year. The Summer of 2014, back in Colorado, I nannied 30 hours a week for two boys aged 7 and 11. Additionally over the Summer, I babysat once a week for a 1 and 5 year old as well as a family with a 2, 4 and 6 year old. I some how even had the time to work date nights for another family with a 2 year old son. Previous last Summer I babysat a 7 year old Read more boy until he was 13 and no longer needed my care. In high school I worked as a camp leader for 6th graders where I lived in the cabin with the girls and taught classes about the outdoors. Currently I am a hostess at Blue Marlin because my school schedule did not allow me to babysit. I would love the opportunity to once again pursue my passion and be able to work with children. I love all outdoor activities, crafts, games, or anything that is fun! I hope to find a wonderful family to work with and make amazing memories!
