Hi! I am a childcare professional and assistant pre-school teacher with four and a half years of experience working with kids ages mostly 3-5. I love being able to teach young kids about new things, because they get so excited! I believe that literacy is incredibly important, and that kids learn a lot of necessary life skills through play. Consequently, I am the type of caregiver to plan lessons, arts and crafts, outdoor activities, science experiments, and the like to help actively teach your younger children while I am with them, and help older children with homework as well. But - I am also not against sometimes watching a fun movie (like Frozen!) :) I have my own transportation, I am first aid & CPR certified, and I have completed many continuing education courses, as well. I also love animals, so I am okay with pets!
