I am currently attending Lander University, majoring in Early Childhood Education. I began babysitting in high school which is where I found my love for children and plan to make childcare my career. While I was in high school I was the secretary of the Future Educators Association (FEA). I was also in the Early Childhood Program through the G. Frank Russell Career Center where I earned my completers certificate. In the Early Childhood program I took classes at Piedmont Tech and had student teaching at local day cares, child development programs, and District 52 Elementary Schools. I am Red Cross First Aid and CPR certified for infants and children. Currently, I am a substitute teacher for District 50 (Ninety Six Schools). I am very experienced with children and love to work with them! I love music, arts and crafts, and especially reading. I believe children learn through play the Read more best.
