I started babysitting as a 12 yr old and took a Red Cross babysitting training course; I received a certificate but have long since lost it. Until I went college I babysat on a weekly basis, worked in a couple of church nurseries and every summer, worked with children at vacation Bible school. Then, in 1992, I had my son, my only child. Recently, I took early retirement and, after a year, have found that I could use some time out of my house and a little extra money.
