I am a high school graduate and I love kids. I have been around kids all my life due to my mom having an in home day care. I helped her a lot throughout the years with many different ages from 6 weeks to 5 years of age. While in high school I took a class titled Early Childhood Education. It is a 2 year program and really teaches high school student and anyone who wants to be a teacher what they need to know about children. In the class we learn and get certified in a lot such as child abuse, CPR and first aid, and the general class. In the program we also go on an internship and go to elementary school and meet a lot of different kids and have dealt with kids up to 1st grade. I watched those learned and also helped those learned new Read more things. Then at the end of the year we take a NOCTI test and that is of everything we learn with certifies us in that area.
