Greetings! My name is Emily. I am a 30 year old nanny and also currently an online student in Project Management. My ultimate goal is to work in either arts management or marketing project management, preferably at a company where I can work in an international capacity and utilize/grow my language skills. As for now, like I said, I am a nanny, and I love what I do. I have 3.5 years of experience as a nanny/household manager, and I genuinely enjoy hanging out with kids, watching/helping them learn, and hearing their thoughts. In addition, I gain great satisfaction from helping busy parents to organize their lives, schedules, and homes. It's not an exaggeration to say that I love to clean, plan, and organize. My personality is calm, accepting, and definitely humorous, but also very straightforward and no-nonsense. I prefer clear and consistent expectations and protocols, yet with flexibility, as things can always change with time and knowledge. I consider myself a person who enjoys being active. My favorite activities are dancing, hiking, basketball, and going to the gym but I love doing all other sorts of activities- I even love home improvement projects and building things. Aside from physical activity, I love going to museums, aquariums, planetariums, etc, and I 100% identify as a nerd. I speak decent Korean and am working on Japanese, Mandarin, Russian, French, and German. My favorite thing to do is simply to sit in a used bookstore, library, or cafe and read for hours on end. As a former theatre major (arts high school) who sings, dances, draws/paints, knits, sews, and plays around with writing music, I also love the arts (and crafts). So I can make this thoroughly descriptive, I would like to mention a couple more things: 1) I am fully vaccinated against COVID-19. 2) I have a severe peanut allergy, along with some more mild nut allergies, and I totally get why, with some positions, it might be an insurmountable problem, especially with very young children. 3) I am fine with single parent households and LGBT households Well, I think that’s all of the most pertinent information.
