My passion to connect with children all started when I wanted to find creative ways to communicate with some of my autistic classmates in High School. I would bring my guitar into their classroom and play music and watch their faces light up. It lead to performing for audiences who were younger. After graduating, I found myself lesson planning educational subjects and skills as a Girl Scouts leader to help the Daisies (aged 5-7) earn badges for their sashes. It was exciting to create goals for the kids and encourage them to accomplish them. In the summers, I would work at Carowinds in management placed in the Planet Snoopy area. For 5 years, I assisted lost children, cheered up children who were upset and helped them feel safe on the rides. Over a year ago, Danby Music Lessons contacted me to become a music teacher. I began teaching guitar, violin, Read more ukulele, and vocals for children aged 5-13 and love every minute of it. Sometimes I'm able to schedule play dates with the kids and we do fun exercises, play dress-up and dance! There was only one problem... time flew by way too fast! I’m blessed to now be able to add value into a family's life by caring for their children, teaching lessons, helping with homework, driving them in a safe vehicle, keeping the house nice and tidy and most importantly... have fun full-time! Bilingual in Spanish CPR certified 2018 Ford Fusion Hybrid seats 5 including driver (valid Driver's License)
