Hello , my name's Kelly and I'm currently a sophomore at Clemson University but will be staying at home in Spartanburg over the summer and would love to be a part-time babysitter for a family looking for a responsible sitter. I may also be able to provide my services full-time as a nanny depending on whether or not I receive a position for an internship I have applied for (and I should know very soon whether or not I will be available full-time). Anyways, I've babysat for about half a dozen families in the past who had children ranging from 6 months old to 13 years old. I've also held a job as an assistant volleyball coach for a program called "Kids Power" which teaches basic skills to children between the ages of 6-12. I personally think I'm very good with kids and have volunteered at "Helping Hands" an emergency Read more children's shelter in Clemson and have helped out with the nursery and a lot of Vacation Bible School Camps at my church. I am also currently in an Infant and Child Developmental Psychology course, which may not certify me as an expert in children, however it does give me an interesting and more informed perspective when it comes to raising children even though I do not have any of my own. I have also been certified as "Babysitter Trained" through the Red Cross, although admittedly this certification has expired, however the knowledge I gained through the course has not. Lastly, I have my own car which I am more than willing to use to carry children to and from practices, play-dates, etc. Please feel free to contact me if you are in need of my services and I will respond as quickly as I am able to!
