Hello parents. My name is Carmen and I have many years of experience taking care of children, specifically my very own two children who are now full grown and successful human beings. One is an assistant principal and the other a registered nurse. Then there are my three lovely grandchildren, ages 5, 9, and 10 months who I have helped with many times. In my earlier life, I worked as an Au Pair for a psychologist and helped her with two lovely children, a girl of 5 and a boy of 10. Recently I took care of 7 children at the same time and one had emotional issues. The ages were from 7 months to 11 years of age. I am college educated and possess a paralegal certificate and a B.S. degree. I have been teaching Yoga part-time to many people, including children after receiving my 200 hour RYA certificate Read more last year. Before that, while still working in the corporate world, I taught Yoga part-time. Why do I seek to care for children now? I am a high energy person and love working with children. I love doing things with children, reading to them, playing games with them, teaching them, and watching Disney movies with them. My granddaughter always enjoys a good movie and to play board games with me when we visit. We also run races outside. I have had many courses in psychology, family law, and social sciences. If I had to do it all over again, I probably would have become a teacher. Economics, however, lead me to a more lucrative career in order to care for my own two children. Now, I am retired and care for a little 10 month old schnauzer that is my current baby. I am able to help in maintaining your home and family during your working hours or while on outings. Making your home and family life easier will help reduce stress and make the world a happier place for families and pets.
