Currently, I am employed at the Holiday Inn Express in Brookings as a lifeguard. I also manage the community pool in Arlington, SD during the summer and have been managing here for two years now. Before this, I worked at the community daycare in Arlington. I worked primarily with the infants and toddlers but provided help and assistance with the younger children when needed. Responsibilities included providing child care, providing meals for all children in our care, organizing activities and field trips, and performing housekeeping duties after hours. Prior to working at the daycare, I provided childcare for a local family in Arlington with two children. I was employed by this family for 3 years until the children were old enough to stay home alone. When the children no longer needed supervision I transported them to activities when needed.
