I started babysitting when I was 12 years old. I mostly babysat for family and close friends but the children were babies when I started and I watched them until I was a few years out of high school if needed ... So until they were about 10 years old. I also have two nephews I helped out with. Most of my friends have children that I've watched for them, two of them were newborns with a 1 or 2 year old as well. I have 3 stepsons as well, ages 9, 12 & 13, so I do have them by myself at times too.
