Hello parents, My name is Kassandra and I live here in Sioux Falls SD. I grew up in Pierre, but relocated to Sioux Falls a little over a year ago. I have experience working with children in a childcare facility. I was previously a nanny for a family in Pierre. I took care of there infant baby as soon as mom went back to work, as well as watched over their teenage son who has autism. I have a step son from my wonderful fiancé. My step son is 6 and has many behavior issues and sensory issues and was recently diagnosed with RAD( reactive attachment disorder). I have spent the last year home with him due to not having reliable and steady childcare for his disabilities. If your not familiar with RAD, please research briefly and you will see I am more then capable of caring for your children, Read more special needs or no special needs. Unfortunately due to his diagnosis and his young age, he was placed in a residential care treatment facility. They will spend the next year re wiring his brain and giving him therapy daily, as well as family therapy to help us as parents be better parents. Anyways...I now have lots of time on my hands and to be honest I miss having a child in my life and caring for my step son everyday. I have heart and sole made to nurture and teach children of all ages. Raised by a mother who was a special education teacher, I have always LOVED kids. (Even when I was a kid). I am very motherly, and will treat your child or children as if they were my own. I love challenge and I love seeing little kiddos reach milestones.
