I started babysitting for friends of the family and my church nursery around the age of 13. I've always been very maternal and I absolutely adore children of all ages. I have two younger sisters and I believe they helped prepare me! While working at a hospital right out of high school, I have helped friends and co-workers by babysitting their children on a part-time basis. I have also volunteered in my church nursery and Sunday School classes. I am certified in CPR and also have a Child Abuse Awareness Certification. I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology; During my time at the University of North Georgia I was able to learn more about developmental disorders among children.
