I recently graduated with my Bachelor's of Science in Public Health from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. My vocational aspiration is to receive my Masters in Occupational Therapy, so I will be moving in August to attend graduate school. That being said, I have a love of children. Through a variety of volunteer experiences in the healthcare field, my passion for spending time with and helping children has grown. In addition, I have held a couple nanny positions in the past and would be happy to supply references upon request. My first experience arose the summer after my freshman year of college. I spent the summer babysitting a 1-year-old and a 4-year-old. I really enjoy being active, and small children keep you very busy. The second experience was the following summer. I spent the time hanging out with two middle schoolers. They were scheduled to attend lots of camps, Read more practices, etc. I am very familiar with the demands of school activities and practices because I was also very active when I was in school. In terms of certification, I am CPR certified with a recertification date on the horizon. I have been an on-campus tutor at my University for two years, so learning is a passion of mine. If your child/children are interested in fun and active learning, we will definitely get along. Lastly, I always try to have a good time.
