MY CHILDCARE EXPERIENCE:    I was a nanny for 4 years to twins! That is my biggest accomplishment so far! HA! I loved playing with them and teaching them new things. I was also a nanny to a little boy for 9 months, his parents were pilots, so the schedule was always changing.I am very flexible with a schedule. During my extended time with the twins and the little boy, I taught them simple sign language starting with the twins around 6 months of age and the little boy around the age of 14 months. The children learned the sign language quickly and was using it frequently. I have also been employed by people that work for the government and that are in the entertainment business. I have been a nanny for 7 years and I plan to make this my career. MY CHILDHOOD: My parents divorced when i was 5. My grandparents helped raise my brother and myself. Even though my parents divorced when I was young, I had a full and exciting childhood. HOBBIES: swimming, reading(you can never learn enough!), listening to music(from classical to rock), going to parks, museums, the zoo, cooking and photography. ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: Hi there! I think a nanny should be able to give support and guidance when needed and should enourage the child to explore and create new things and ideas.A nanny should also be someone who the family can trust and feel at ease with.
