I graduated from East Tennessee State University in May of 2013 with a Degree in Health Science. I plan to apply to a Physicians Assistant program in the fall of 2014. I am currently seeking a job for the summer. I would love an opportunity to travel and gain new experiences before I settle into graduate school. I have spent the last ten years gaining child care experience through babysitting and volunteering. I babysit for many families in the town where I live. I provide care including transportation to and from school and after school activities, help with homework, meal preparation, and overnight care. I have spent time as a volunteer in the Niswonger Children's Hospital with the Child Life program. I have also volunteered for Girls on the Run, Feed the Kids, Relay for Life, Habitat for Humanity and Second Harvest Food Bank. I am certified in CPR and Read more Basic Life Support. I have recently gain experience with special needs children on a more personal level as my family took in a foster child with autism. I love working with kids and hope to eventually work in Pediatrics. A job as a summer nanny would be an amazing opportunity to leave my small town and meet new people and experience new places while doing a job I really enjoy. I am a very easy going and energetic person and I love traveling and being outside. I believe that with my personality and experience I make a great candidate for a summer nanny position.
