Hi! My name is Denise and I raised three boys of my own, with a set of twins in there. My oldest was born with a medical condition which required 17 surgeries. For almost 10 consecutive years I took care of both of my parents which I lost both to cancer. My oldest went off to the Navy and my twins went off to college So I became a nanny for two married Dr’s in Brentwood. I nannied for their two children for 5 years. My job duties were, getting them fed breakfast and I either took them to and from school or got them on and off the school bus. While they were in school I did occasional light grocery shopping, took things to recycle, meal prep, occasionally get dinner cooking in the crockpot, did laundry. After school I fed the children a snack. I took them to soccer, Read more basketball, swim practice, swim meets, gymnastics, baseball, play dates, the park where I played with them. I took them to the library, where I read to them and they read to me ( I’m a huge believer in reading). We went on walks, did crafts, colored, made slime, played board games. We made cookies, brownies. I took them to the grocery store and let them pick out dinner and I helped them cook dinner for their parents. They set the table for them oh how they loved doing all of that. If they were sick I gave them their medicine and took care of them. After being with their sweet family, I left to take care of my grandson and he quickly grew up on me and started kindergarten, so I thought I’d get back into babysitting/nannying. I still keep up with their mom as when our schedules allow we meet for lunch and catch up, we still celebrate birthdays and holidays. I look forward to possibly getting to meet you.
