I've been babysitting for the past 8 years. I've babysat any age form 6 months to 14 years. They've all had such different personalities. We're talking anything from athletes, to shy and quite, to artsy; one of the 2 year olds I babysat was considered "behind". She wasn't mentally challenged, but she was behind in potty training and speech compared to most 2 year olds. I can't really put into words the feeling I get when I get to spend my time with kids. Babysitting is like a therapy in a way. You're having so much fun with them that you forget your troubles ever existed. It's amazing! That's why I love it so much! Unfortunately, I don't have any training or any certifications, but the love I have for kids I feel can't be taught. Give me a chance and I promise you won't be disappointed!
