I have experience teaching children of all ages, from infant care rooms to high school student conferences. I worked throughout college in various childcare settings, taught full time in pre-school and pre-kindergarten classrooms for 2 years, and worked part-time for a year in an extended day program for elementary and middle school students. During my time as a teacher I passed the PRAXIS II on Elementary Education Content Knowledge and received an ETS Recognition of Excellence Award for scoring in the top 15% of test-takers. I am a current Child Studies M.Ed. student at Vanderbilt University's Peabody College. Beyond childcare, I would be available to tutor children in select subjects, such as early reading and math skills, middle school and high school social studies and language arts, SAT prep, essay writing and review, and general study skills.
