I just moved to Nashville in August to start an internship with a boutique-style PR firm on Music Row. My internship will be the final step towards graduating with a Music Industry Studies degree at Appalachian State University (yay!). My internship is an unpaid 32-38hr week day job, so I am available nights and I believe babysitting is a great way to spend some of my spare time. During the summers of 2009 and 2010 I was a camp counselor for a day camp at a park in my hometown in Virginia. That was by far the most fun, interesting, and rewarding job I have ever had. The camp included children ranging from ages 5-13 separated into four groups based on age. Although all the counselors constantly interacted with all of the kids at camp, I was the counselor for group 4, the 11-13 year olds. It was challenging at Read more times (pre-teens - they can get kinda crazy), there wasn't a moment I didn't love my job.
