Hi! My name is Carina Dente. I am a senior Social Work major at Belmont University. I love working with children; most of my jobs have involved doing just that! -I have worked at a summer day camp for children ages 5-12 for six summers and am the senior counselor there. -I have been babysitting for 10 years and have a few regular families. -I worked for 2 school years in the childcare department at an exercise facility. -I currently mentor a 10-year-old girl through Big Brothers Big Sisters. -Last semester I interned at CASA, an organization that advocates on behalf of children in the foster care system. -This semester I am interning at Monroe Harding, a foster care agency that places children in homes and also provides resources for teenagers in need of assistance. My wife and I came into Nashville for a wedding, and needed help with our twin babies of 13 months. After speaking with Carina on the phone, we felt confident that we had found the perfect person to help with our children for both the rehearsal dinner and the day of the wedding. My wife and I were standing up in the wedding, as were the babies. Needless to say, after only a few minutes with our children, we were thrilled with the decision in choosing Carina. She far exceeded our expectations. It is not an easy task to watch over twins who just recently learned how to walk. Carina handled each and every situation wonderfully. She was a God send, and we cannot speak highly enough of her character and abilities. It was a pleasure having her be part of our family for the weekend.
