I am an experienced teacher with nine years of teaching experience. I am passionate about caring for children of all ages. I have taught students in first through eighth grades. I have a Master's degree in Reading Instruction. Prior to teaching, I spent two years working in a daycare center, primarily with infants and toddlers. I also worked as a summer camp counselor and helped to run a day camp. I have volunteered in my church's nursery with infants and toddlers. I enjoy cooking and am happy to prepare meals and snacks, based on your family’s needs. I am also an animal lover and am comfortable caring for pets. You can rest assured that I am a professional who can be trusted to care for your children with excellence.

Sarah has been helping us with our 2 boys (3 and 8 years) just recently, but I can already say a lot of good things about her. She is very organized, always on time, and is really great with the kids. She has a lot of experience working with children, and this really shows when she is with our 2 boys. Our boys are very temperamental and do not always get along with each other well, but Sarah manages to control them and play with them in a fun way. She is very calm and this is great for our boys, because they get excited or upset very easily. There are several other challenges that Sarah was perfectly able to deal with. We asked her to pick our 3-year-old from his day care and drive him home by the time the older child gets from his school by bus, then take both kids and drive them to their swimming lessons, and then drive them home again. It’s a lot of work, but Sarah was able to cope with it perfectly well. Additionally, our children are not native speakers of English, and the younger child can’t effectively communicate in English yet. Sarah was able to find a way to understand him and make him understand her. Overall, we are very happy Sarah agreed to help us!

My wife and I have had many great babysitters for our toddler son over the past few years. Sarah is one of the best who has ever watched over him. In our first conversation Sarah asked many questions designed to better understand the needs and interests of our son. She was always prompt and easy to work with. She came prepared with books, a scavenger hunt, and other fun games to play with. She also prepared his meals and gave him a bath. She is very calm and personable and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter for their child. We were really impressed with her and look forward to having her watch him again in the future.
