Hi my name is Alexis , I have been a nanny for the past 10 years, and I have loved every minute of it! I have always felt a strong calling to work with children, specifically children 5 and under. I believe that what a child learns in the first 5 years of life shapes who they are. At 16 I began babysitting my pastors girls, and at 18 I became a full time nanny to my youth pastors kids and grand kids. I have cared for children ages birth to 17. Including multiples and high functioning special needs. I am CPR and first aid certified. I am PATH certified( which is faster care certification). I'm not a fan of just sitting children in front of the TV all day, fun and educational activities are what I do best! I enjoy being outdoors and active with the kids, reading books, Read more crafts, learning/science experiments (according to the age of the children), as well as singing and dramatic arts. On top of all of this I also have close to seven years of household management experience for both large and small families. I am knowledgeable in most common food allergies in children including dairy free diet, gluten-free diet etc.
