I am a mother of 2 who enjoys all aspects of the childhood experience. I spent time caring for 2 girls, ages 3 and 8 weeks when we began, in addition to my son. They came to my home 5 to 6 days per week while their mother worked in an office setting. We enjoyed playing games together, singing and reading and getting outdoors. I was also responsible for preparing their meals according to state standards. Providing care for children is more than a job. It is an opportunity to experience life through the lens of wonderment and curiousity once again. Children need safe parameters within which they can explore, play and learn. Every child deserves attentive care. Parents should not be left worrying about their child, whether care is provided on a daily basis or special occasion.
