Although I seem young to many, I have a lot of experience with caring for children, and it's something I genuinely love to do. I am 100% the lady at the grocery store who runs over to take a peek at your child and wave. Children make me happy and one day I hope to work with kids in a professional setting as a counselor. I really love working with children, and have been doing so since I was in middle school. I have watched children ranging from 2 weeks- 12 years old. I have experience watching up to 5 kids at a time and am comfortable doing so as long as they are not all under the age of 4. In the past, I have stayed with children up to 10 hours at a time and babysat for multiple families. Most of my time has been spent with a Read more young girl with Down Syndrome, so I have quite a bit of experience with handling and caring for social needs children. My duties have included helping with homework, changing diapers, fixing meals, putting children down for naps, and overall making sure that the child is comfortable, safe, and content. Along with having a younger sister (by 4 years) and a younger brother (by 9 years), I have learned how to switch roles from playful, watchful eye to stern when it comes to discipline. I will come to love, cherish, and protect your children with everything in me.
