Hi there! I'm Kala! I'm 26yrs old and I'm a Fiancé and a mommy.. Our son Cooper just turned two. My main objective of joining SitterCity is becoming an occasional babysitter to earn a little extra money to help out our family while I finish school to be a teacher. My major will be in Early Childhood education. Also, I'd like babysit for a family who has children or a child who is close in age to Cooper. When I babysit, I'd like to bring Coop along (sometimes) to play while I babysit. I am a stay-at-home mom and part time housekeeper to family friends since Cooper was very little he hasn't gone to daycare. We don't have any friends who have kids close in age to Coop so he doesn't get to play with kids his speed (toddler speed that is). I currently have 5 years daycare/childcare experience. I Read more was over an after-school program in Murfreesboro while attending MTSU (before Coop came along). Therefore, I have loads of supplies, ideas, and experience with doing activities with little ones.
