Ever since I was 13 years old, I have spent my time taking care of my younger siblings and family friends. This experience later lead me to becoming a child mentor at a local domestic violence shelter for four years while I was at college. I worked with 15+ children from the ages of 0-18 years old, while their parents attended group therapy. Currently, I have been working with children in the foster care system and recently received my CPR/First Aid certification.
