My interest include: Acting, going to the movies, spending time with friends and family. I have taken care of babies and young children for family and friends. I have taken child development and child guidance courses. I have volunteered in the kids section of my church and have helped in a Pre-K and Kindergarten classroom. I have also done developmental studies with the Pre-K students of an elementary school. I believe one of the most important developments in children is their social skills. I think that being able to handle different conflict and issues in social situations can lead to success in many different areas. Being a team player is important. I also take self esteem very seriously. I currently work at Justice, the clothing store for young girls, and I do everything I can to make them feel beautiful and unique; also I let them know their opinion matters. Read more Today's society makes it so easy to feel put down, and make children feel worth less than they truly are. I aim to help every kid know just how amazing and priceless they are. Kids need to know they are loved, and I would do everything in my ability to help them know just that. I have taught acting and dance classes to children ranging from (4-13). In Minnesota my aunt own's a daycare, and when I am there I help with the kids. I typically help her with the babies, but I have also helped with a mute child. I love animals, especially dogs; they are my favorite. I am happy to help kiddos with their school work and love to take them to do various educational and fun activities. I love being active and learning new things, so I would definitely want to lead and set a good example for kids. I am attending college in order to become a child psychologist and developmental theorist in the future, but also hope to have a career in acting one day as well.
