Hello, I'm Maciena and I am 19! I am currently going to school online to become a Special Ed teacher. Right now I am at College of the Mainland but will be continuing my education at Texas State University in about a year. While in high school I was part of the Peer Assianst Leadership program in which we volunteered at the elementary schools and helped students with school work and even kids with special learning disabilities. To become a PAL we went through a interviewing process and had to keep up good conduct and grades. I truly found my passion for helping children within those two years. I have grown up taking care of kids, from nieces and nephews to neighbors kids and friends. I am looking for a job where I can work with kids while attending school online.
