Hello, My name is Sirena ^_^ I have been babysitting since i was in middle school. My father was in the Army, so i grew up all around the world, with a strong sense of helping my community. i would reach out to other soldiers and their families and lend a helping hand, before long i would have a weekly routine of babysitting for over 3 families. I really enjoy giving parents the break they sometimes need, and the kids the one on one attention they want. I currently work for the YMCA as an After School Counselor. the job can be stressful at times, as we care for over 50 kids ranging from age 5 - 10. However, it is so rewarding when the children look to me for guidance, help with their everyday little issues, for counseling when they are having tough days, and lastly when the parents Read more thank me and express how happy they are for the service we provide. for me it truly is those small things that makes it all worth it. i volunteered my services for the infant room at my church, i care for the little ones so the parents can enjoy their worship service, it was the best! I've also volunteered at the animal shelter by my home here in arlington. I absolutely adore animals. I currently have two dogs, and will be expecting more down the road when my fiancé and i decide to expand our family :) I have also in the past, had three cats, two turtles and an aquarium! So working in a pet friendly home would be a blast for me! I have been CPR certified through the YMCA, they also provide an hour, some times more, of training once every month including online training through the redwood institute as well as classes set up through the YMCA organization. I have earned an Associated degree at Tarrant County College, and i am currently enrolled at the University of Texas in Arlington, just two classes away from earning my Bachelors degree!
