My name is Elizabeth or “Ellie” and I am thirty-two years old. It is difficult to summarize myself as I am very eclectic, at times almost appearing paradoxical. I find quantum mechanics fascinating and graduated with honors in science. Conversely, I have a deep need to create. I always have an art, craft or directorial project in the works. As I am composing this, I asked a coworker to suggest traits that she feels I have: gentle, tenacious, creative, analytical, goofy, playful, patient, energetic and reflective. ​I received my BFA in Theatre Education with an emphasis in Directing with a minor in Comparative World Religions along with my Texas Teaching Certification. I also have over twenty hours in Psychology with an emphasis in Child Development and Neo-Freudian Analysis. I taught in the public schools for four years and have been working in child care since I was in High School. Read more Most recently I was a teacher for Primrose Schools. I am certified in adult and pediatric CPR and first aid. I have experience guiding and caring for groups of children, individual children, multiples and non-typical/special needs children. ​I have a gift for, and a love of, creating a sense of magic for children. I can accomplish this with a wide range of age groups. I do this through dramatic play, make believe, art, science and especially nature. I know and understand the stages of development; therefore, I am aware of developmental needs which are critical to the development of the whole child.
