I'm a 27 yr old female who loves kids and babies. I was a nanny for a family with 3 children ages 2-10, who I did homework with, cooked for and put to bed at night. For the past 3 years I have lived with a family with 2 children, who are now 4 and 10, and done childcare for them once a week. I still keep in contact with a now 14 yr old who I babysat weekly from when she was 7 to 9. I have been babysitting on and off for 8 yrs and experience with many different age groups- infant to pre-teen. I am adaptable and good at picking up at ques from kids. I can play on the play ground with them, go for walks, tell jokes or just sit and read with them. I love watching children discover the world and teaching them new Read more skills. I believe in giving children quality, undivided attention, using redirection instead of punishment whenever possible and setting good, appropriate boundaries. I strive to provide consistency and routine for kids, and respect the rules and wishes of every family I work for. As well as doing childcare and I can also help cook meals, do laundry, keep the house tidy, take care of pets and even water plants. I am GLBTQ friendly and interested in accommodating non traditional families. I am a Wilderness First Responder and have been trained and certified in first aid and CPR. I am current on my DTAP vaccine and can get a flu shot if working with infants or susceptible children. As I said, I am a creative type and I do have tattoos. I know this can be an issue for some people and prefer to have it in the open.
