I am an art major currently taking classes at ACC. I have a strong love for reading, being outside, and a weakness for Amy's Ice Cream. I have been babysitting my whole life it seems, having grown up being the oldest of siblings, cousins, and family friends. However, I was 15 when I got my first paid babysitting job that was outside of the family. Since then I have been doing it regularly as a source of income on the side. I have a genuine love for children, I always have. My greatest flaw, as a babysitter, is that I have a weakness for them and I end up becoming attached. Hugs and kisses always end up naturally becoming apart of our regular routine with the kids I babysit on a frequent basis. However, I always keep in mind that this is a job and an amount of professionalism is Read more required at all times. I make a very conscious effort to never step on anybody's toes, be it parent's or child's, when it comes to their specific family values and beliefs. The absolute last thing I would ever want to do is step out of line. When it comes to the kids themselves I am comfortable with children of all ages, be they infants or preteens. I have paid experience with all of them and have fun just the same. Likewise I am just as comfortable when babysitting kids one on one or a group of them, such as four or five.
