My experience with kids/babies/toddlers comes from caring for my nephews (twin boys). When they were 23 months, I lived in Louisiana with my sis and was the default babysitter when she had to work evenings/weekends. I moved to Austin shortly after they turned 2, but I still babysit when I visit for holidays. They are awesome to be around and love coloring, running around outside and collecting flowers, etc. In college, I interned at a local arts council, where I often worked with kids (ranging from 5 to about 12 years old) on arts and crafts at the Farmers Market or "Movie in the Park" events. I also worked as a language arts tutor (about 20 hours per week) for three years. I worked mostly with freshman or foreign exchange students, but I am very comfortable helping people with essays or other homework assignments, if your child/teenager needs assistance with Read more composition, test prep, or assistance with other school subjects.
