I graduated from the University of Texas with a bachelor's degree in human development and family sciences, specifically, early childhood. Upon graduating I worked as an Early Intervention Specialist/Developmental Specialist for a year and a half, where I worked with children ages 0-3 that had developmental delays or medical diagnoses. I previously volunteered at a child development center as a student teacher to 7 toddlers ages 2 to 2. 5. I also have experience babysitting several children throughout the past 3 years ages 8 mos. to 8 years old. These experiences have taught me about children's social-emotional development, child and adult interactions, guidance strategies, and interacting with adults. My role in these jobs was to provide guidance techniques appropriate to the child's individual developmental level and needs.
