Currently, I'm a senior at UT studying English Lit. I'm also in a teaching program where I'm interning to observe and teach a class of kindergarteners. I also have another internship with an educational non-profit. Originally from San Antonio, but I really love Austin! In my free time I love going to the greenbelt, checking out record stores, and spending time with my friends. A little about my experience -- I first babysat when I was a young teenager. I would babysit my little cousin or the neighbor's kids. I have babysat in the last year for a friend of a friend's children which included two toddlers an infant. But I've basically watched for kids of all ages. I'm a big fan of reading to kids, so that's one thing I usually like to do. Whatever directions are left, I always make sure to follow them closely! One thing - Read more in the past, I've seen that parents like it if we exchange numbers and I text updates during the time that they're gone. Just like what the kids are doing or if they've been put to sleep yet or if there's any concern I might have! What else...I really do think I'm great with kids. My 7 year old niece Ava regards me as her best friend. I'm very kid friendly. I'm the one who takes her to the children's museum, the bookstore, the park, you name it! In closing, I'm a very responsible and attentive person. I'll do my best to keep your kids entertained and definitely make sure that they're safe and being well looked after!
