Hey families! My name is Alissa and I'm 21 years old. I've been babysitting and nannying basically my whole life starting with my twin niece and nephew when I went 11 to nannying two children for a a summer by the time I was 13. My sophomore year of college I worked in a childcare facility and spent mornings 7am to 830am with 4k and 5k kiddos and afternoons 3pm to 530pm with the older kids from the elementary school. Most recently I have nannied for two different families. One couple with a son who was 3 months old when I started and almost a year when I left. This family was great! They continue to be a part of my life and watching their little boy grow up is extremely rewarding. The other family is the Stout family with two little boys, Tyler who was 3 when I started Read more and Jacob who was 3 months when I started. We had so much fun together and I love each of the boys so much. I had to quit working for them when I decided to move to Austin but Kelley (mom) and I still send pictures and letters back and fourth to each other frequently. I'm currently a barista at Starbucks and am only looking for nanny work part-time. I love hanging out outside and doing fun sensory and learning activities. I live a fairly "green" lifestyle and try to do my part to help our Earth. I'm generally mild tempered and easy going. I know how to enforce rules as needed but try to stay away from giving very stern orders or raising my voice. I attended the University of Wisconsin for two years, then a tech school in Wisconsin for one semester. I am new to Austin and liking it so far. I'm hoping to find a family who is happy to have me become part of their circle!
