I am a recent graduate of Oklahoma State University (go pokes!) and am moving to the Tulsa area after spending a year in Austin post-grad. While living in Oklahoma and Texas, I have gained experience with childcare through babysitting, volunteering, and multiple internships. I started babysitting about five years ago, and have since worked with a variety of families and different aged children. I have experience working with ages 1-12 and I feel comfortable with children at any age or developmental level. I have also spent time volunteering at a preschool/kindergarten that specializes in caring for and educating children with special needs. At The Little Lighthouse, I learned not only how to better care for children with special needs, but I also learned useful ways to interact with typically developing children as well. I am CPR and First Aid certified, as well as a great homework or study buddy. I Read more enjoy cooking and have no problem with meal prep or running errands! I am very high energy and have no problem laughing at myself. I'm preparing for physical therapy school and would love to be babysitting as I intend to work with children after graduating!
