I've worked with children ever since I was one, and have never stopped enjoying it. Most recently, I worked as the GM and events coordinator for Toy Joy for 4 years, where I not only set up and managed special events, but actively participated in them, often directly educating or playing with kids in a character-driven learning environment. I've babysat since the age of 16, and currently hold 2 regular clients, both who have two children aged 7-11. People have questioned my desire to work with kids because I'm a man, but I feel it gives me and the kids a unique babysitting perspective they don't often get, and honestly, I'm a super sensitive and compassionate guy who just loves seeing people happy, especially little ones. I pride myself on being able to talk to kids without ever talking DOWN to kids, and love the opportunities to explain, resolve conflicts, Read more and chat about their interests, because I see them as a legitimate opportunities to make connections that make kids feel smart, empowered, and interesting. I am currently looking to babysit for elementary-age children and am happy to watch any number of kids. I'm mostly available for evenings and weekends.
