I live in Apex NC. I used to work as a part-time live in nanny for a little girl. (4 months-6 years) I also babysat regularly on the side. I have babysat up to seven kids by myself at one time and I am comfortable babysitting between 6 months-11 years. I have done standard sitting as well as tutoring, and swim training. I have worked with kids that have diabetes, eczema, autism and children that were deaf and legally blind. I specifically took three semesters of American Sign Language to be able to communicate better with the two kids I had worked with. I am CPR and Lifeguard certified. I am looking to get back into the standard babysitting setting but I am open to consecutive scheduling with the right family. I work for a financial technology firm from 9am- 5pm. I would really love to get to know your Read more child/children and create an open comfortable environment in which the kid(s) know and are excited when the parents explain they are going on their own play date. I’ve prided myself on being seen as “the big sister” of a babysitter in the sense that I will treat and respect your child as my own family but yet still maintain that responsible figure in their lives they can look up to.
