I have worked with children for 23 years. I have been a preschool teacher, the director of a preschool, and well as lead caregiver in a children's home. I was a nanny for 15 years in Manhattan and for 2 years in LA. I have also volunteered in orphanages in Morocco, Russia, and Latvia. I have tutored children and have taught children to read using the phonics system. I also have experience with homeschooling. I am a career nanny and I love what I do. I keep children busy with art, outside play, reading and creative play. I also talk with them throughout the day about subjects that would interest them and I add history, literature, or science into the conversation as much as I can so they will become great conversationalists.
