My name is Maggie and I moved to Austin in February. I am originally from Minneapolis, and went to school in Chicago. While in Chicago, I was both a full-time and part-time nanny for children between the ages of 3 months and 3 years. I am very confident in looking over any age group from newborn to grade school. I absolutely adore kids and working/playing with them. Being 26 years old, I have 10+ years of experience with children. I started out babysitting, continued into high school and college working as a camp counselor each summer and teaching tennis and basketball to children grades K-8. Along with sports I have taught classes such as Arts & Crafts Extravganza, Bubbles Bubbles & Silly Goo, Woodscrap Sculpture, Sports & Rec., Tye Dye, etc. I am very confident in my childcare skills, being outgoing, active and fun-loving, while able to keep an authoritative Read more demeanor. I do not have kids myself, or smoke for that matter, just to get that out of the way. Families that I usually babysit for have around two or three kids, anywhere from newborns to 8th grade. I try to keep the kids active, whether it be playing outside if weather permits, or playing games/sports/with toys, doing crafts or playing dress-up in the house, etc. If the parents don't allow TV, that's fine, I am able to entertain no matter what. I love all board games, creating new games, playing house or with pets, doing crazy cool arts and crafts, playing both boy and girl activities.  Action figures and legos have always been a favorite of mine with boys. Gender never matters, I get along great with both. Last but not least, I took Spanish classes K-12th grade, so I have a decent background with the language.
