I am a college student and have recently been attending Hardin Simmons University in Abilene, TX. In Abilene I had (it is now over, because school is out) a job at the Alliance for Women and Children (a non profit after school childcare program) and I worked with 20 elementary school children (grades k-5) for 3 hours after school helping with homework and providing fun as well as enrichment. My home is in Flower Mound, TX, which is where I will be all summer. As well as my experience with after school childcare, I am employed by the government to be an in-home nurse for my 9 year old handicapped sister. I've been tending to her needs since she was born and have extensive experience with children with physical and mental disabilities.
