I was born and raised in central Texas, around the Houston area, and graduated from high school in 2006. From there, I went on to attend Schreiner University, graduating in 2010 with Bachelor's of Arts in history. From there I took some time to discern what God was calling me to do. I did two Young Adult Volunteer (YAV) years through the Presbyterian Church. I spent my days working at Metro CareRing, one of Denver's largest food pantries and social service agency. I began my seminary journey in 2012 at Union Presbyterian Seminary in Richmond VA currently working on my Master's of Divinity and my Master's of Arts in Christian Education. I recently spent time in Africa working at an orphanage. I have been back since may of 2016.
